Hagie
Founded in 1947 in Clarion, Iowa, Hagie Manufacturing pioneered the world’s first self-propelled sprayer and built a reputation around high-clearance, front-boom designs.
In 2016, John Deere acquired a majority stake in Hagie and moved sales and service into Deere’s global dealer network while keeping Hagie production in Clarion and the Hagie brand on the machines.
Hagie later became wholly owned by John Deere (completion noted in 2020), further tightening product, technology, and support integration.
Current Hagie STS sprayers are sold through Deere, featuring integrated Operations Center™ connectivity (JDLink™), G5 Plus displays, StarFire™ 7500 guidance, and ExactApply™ nozzle control.
